He spent about 4 hours going through our home, top to bottom, then another hour going over his report. He identified items with issues in and around our house that I didn't even know existed. He identified issues that were present in our house 12 years when we were buying it that did not show up in the inspector's report then. I like his coding system to prioritize the need for attention for each item. Although there were plenty of issues to give attention to, I am glad for Mike's report as I my house seems less of a scary mystery to me.

Not only does Mike hold MULTIPLE licenses and training NOT REQUIRED his educational background is ENGINEERING. Mike is probably the most qualified inspector in southern CA and is truly worth every dollar. We had Mike inspect a home in Fullerton with an unpermitted kitchen and family room. My wife and I loved th house and were blinded by the expensive finishes. Mike clearly documented the MULTITUDE of serious code violations. He literally saved us from making a bad investment.
Mike does not like to discuss his findings until after his inspections. He provides refreshments, writing tools, and even an iPad while you're waiting. Mike isn't the greatest at explaining issues with the home.

For Fernando, his work is as much a mission as a business, and he makes himself available at almost any hour of the day to answer questions and talk through options. He and Stephen looked tirelessly for low- or no-VOC options and sent us links to manufacturer/retailer web sites. They also ordered and hand-delivered samples for our approval. This required a lot of driving on Fernando's part, as we don't live close to Go Green's office. The work was primarily performed through subcontractors that Fernando has known for some time and trusts. Most of the work went smoothly and was performed on schedule.
I have no doubt that Mike is the best at what he does. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I'm pretty sure that the seller and seller's agent hate him, but he was an amazing asset to my husband and I as buyers. We did run into some small issues at the end of the project that required a bit more oversight on my part than I would have liked, but to Fernando's credit, he remedied all of these issues promptly. We were very happy with the quality of the finished work and would use Go Green again. He is super thorough, caught every little thing, I expect it will be great when it comes to negotiating time.

This is our first time buying a home and had heard from a friend that they had used this extremely thorough inspector. My friend "warned" me that he is so detailed he will find every single thing that could possibly be an issue with the house. My personality is such that I would rather know all the bad stuff now so that there will be no surprises later, so we went with Mike. His rates are significantly higher than other inspectors, but you get what you pay for. If you are like me and want to know EVERYTHING about the house, Mike is the way to go.

He generally recommends seeing 'experts' regarding most issues found. If you want a great investigator who will lay the facts out for you than you've come to the right place. We called Mike to perform home inspections on two different houses.
Very honest and upfront with his pricing as well. Mike provides the most thorough and detailed report. He is a friend of buyers but maybe not so much of real estate agents.
